Vargas emphasized that levy calculations and final numbers depend on statutory formulas, voter‑approved referendums and voter‑approved debt; some elements of state funding are set by law and statewide legislative calculations. She encouraged the community to watch the district website for portal updates and said more detailed estimates will be published as MDE releases calculation data.
No board action was required on July 14; the presentation placed the levy timeline on the public record and identified key dates that will guide budget discussions this fall.
