The Emery Town Council approved the minutes from its June 11 meeting and authorized payment of bills listed on the invoice report during the opening portion of the July meeting.
The council formally accepted the June 11 minutes by voice vote. Councilmembers then moved to pay the bills as shown on the invoice report; the motion was seconded and the roll-call-style confirmation in the transcript recorded four members saying “Aye” when asked by name: Misty, Melissa, Pat and Kim.
Those routine actions were taken at the start of the meeting before the council moved into discussion items and public reports. No ordinances, resolutions or other binding measures were introduced or decided at that time.
The council also reviewed the invoice report and allowed staff to proceed with payment processing as directed by the motion.
The meeting continued with a mix of town business, event planning and community reports.
