Staff said the project anticipates a capital investment of about $46 million and the creation of 225 new jobs (average wage about $51,000 plus benefits). Impact-fee and mobility mitigation is available at up to $3,500 per new full-time job, for a mitigation cap of up to $787,500; the estimated current impact fee liability is about $204,360. Staff recommended and council approved the incentive agreement unanimously.
Items tabled and procedural notes
- The council tabled consent item 7E and regular agenda items 11A and 11B per staff request, and added item 7L to the consent agenda.
Vote counting and attendance
- Mayor Martin was not present for the meeting. Where motions were recorded as "carried unanimously," four council members were present and voted in favor. Several items were first readings and will return for second readings or additional public notice as required.
