Commission awards Fire Station 21 contract to MCI Mulligan Contractors

The Winter Garden City Commission approved staff'recommended award of RFP 25-001 for construction services on Fire Station 21 to MCI Mulligan Contractors Incorporated after a selection committee review and scoring process.
City staff said the solicitation drew several comprehensive proposals and that a mandatory pre-submittal meeting had strong attendance. The selection committee scored respondents against the criteria in the RFP; Mulligan Contractors received the highest score and was ranked the most responsive bidder, staff said.
On a motion and second, the commission voted unanimously to award the construction contract to MCI Mulligan Contractors Incorporated. Staff said it will return with contract documents and the schedule for design and construction milestones.
