The Gunnison City Planning Commission on July 9 approved a home-occupation business license for Amy Gordon to operate a private art studio and provide massage therapy from her residence at 28 East 200 South.
Commissioners reviewed the staff memorandum and conditions for home occupations and asked whether any exterior evidence of the business (signage) would be allowed. Staff replied that limited signage appropriate to a home-occupation is permitted under the conditions outlined in the staff report. The commission made the approval subject to the conditions in the staff report.
A motion to approve the license carried unanimously in the meeting audio. The approval moves forward under the city—s standard home-occupation rules; staff will record the license and monitor compliance with the conditions specified in the planning memorandum.
