Parlier City Council approves parcel split, Veterans Park FEMA funds and several grants

Public Works staff and council members then authorized work at Veterans Park tied to FEMA funding awarded after a 2023 storm. Public Works staff member Javier said the city received a FEMA allocation letter about a month earlier and that $500,000 was allocated to renovate and repair storm damage at Veterans Park. The council approved a resolution (2025-58) authorizing a task order to begin reconstruction work; the motion passed 4–0 with one absent.
Senior Revenue Manager Sandra Rodriguez presented several grant-related items.
