Marion County advisory board extends ACCND translation contract 60 days, adds $10,000; minutes approved

The Marion County Community Correction Advisory Board voted on July 17 to extend a translation services contract with vendor ACCND by 60 days and to add $10,000 to the contract; the board also approved the meeting minutes from June 26.
"They actually expire first. They were going to expire on the August 5, but I am requesting an extension for 60 days, making the contract expire until October 5. ... And adding, I'm sorry, and adding $10,000," Bailey Rinchey, Corporation Counsel, said while presenting the item.
After a motion and second, the board approved the extension by voice vote. The meeting record shows a motion to approve followed by a second and the chair called for "Aye," with no opposition recorded. The meeting did not record individual vote counts or names on the voice vote.
The board also approved the June 26 meeting minutes by voice vote earlier in the meeting. The chair asked for a motion to approve; with a first and second the board voted "Aye" and the chair said the motion passed.
There was no substantive debate recorded on either item.
The advisory board's next meeting is scheduled for Aug. 21 at noon in the same room.
