Staff also said volunteers want to tweak the swap shop rules; the Select Board motion establishes a forum for those discussions before any formal change is considered by the solid waste committee.
Town Manager Azalea Cormier provided contact details for the swap shop lead, Sarah Nickel (mama.snickel@gmail.com), and asked residents with construction or repair experience to reach out. The board clarified the solid waste committee must ultimately approve formal rule changes, but the workshop will give volunteers and board members an opportunity to refine proposed edits and identify repair steps.
