The Bangor City Planning Board voted July 15 to adopt final findings for two projects the board had approved at its July 1 meeting, identified in board materials as 20210 State Street and 1205 Broadway.
Chair Rhys Perkins opened the item and noted that the adoption of findings covers two projects the board approved previously. The board moved directly to a roll-call vote after a member asked to be excluded; the record shows the motion carried with all participating members voting yes and one member excluded from the vote.
The board did not reopen discussion of the project details during the July 15 meeting. The chair and staff confirmed the adoption of the written findings as the administrative step that completes the board’s approval from the earlier meeting.
Because these adoptions are ministerial acknowledgements of decisions already recorded, no additional city council action was indicated at the Planning Board meeting.
The board meeting record notes the vote was taken with one member excluded from the roll call for conflict-of-interest reasons; the excluded member was named at the start of the vote but the board’s minutes and the city’s files will contain the official recusal documentation and the signed findings.
