The Troy School District Board of Education approved exhibit K, a group of personnel items, and staff highlighted recent hires and staffing adjustments during the meeting.
District staff recapped a recent internal hire: Shelby Elifritz, who previously worked as a custodian, was hired as a teacher after returning to school. The staff also announced Gracie Miller, a Troy graduate and Wright State University alumna, as a new first-grade teacher at Kyle Elementary. Principal Matt Dillon introduced Miller and said the district was "excited to have her" as part of the staff.
Staff noted supplemental contracts and other routine personnel items listed on the meeting packet; most were standard supplementals and replacements, including a shift change for another custodian who replaced Elifritz's prior custodial shift.
The board moved and approved the exhibit K personnel items during the meeting.
