"We've been wanting to do something with our school... and the board... introduced this idea of partnering for Angel Fund," Patel said.
Board members in attendance, including Vice Chair Lester Swanson and Miss Edmonds, said they joined the May 31 event. The board noted BAPS Charities is a global volunteer organization active in multiple countries and that volunteers in Western Wake have been especially active in local service projects.
The board thanked BAPS Charities and said it would take photographs with the donors and the student presenter after a short recess.
