Jenks senior group asks council to consider ranch pavilion as new senior center meeting site

Smith offered to provide a copy of the original agreement he said was signed by a former official and urged the council to consider the senior group’s long‑standing needs. Council members thanked him and took the comment for consideration; no formal motion or direction to staff was recorded on the record during that agenda item.
The request was made during the public-comment portion of the meeting and not as a formal agenda item. Councilmembers suggested that staff and committee processes are the appropriate next steps if the council wishes to evaluate the request more formally.
