Staff said the prior lease expired and this is an extension; the new agreement includes a standard automatic 3% annual increase in rent (staff noted this was more favorable than the prior lease’s flat-dollar increases). The council approved the resolution by roll call.
- Resolution 25‑22: The council approved a multi‑year interlocal agreement with Weber County for specialized forensic services (scene photography, 3‑D scanning, evidence collection) to free Roy Police Department staff for other duties; staff said Roy has participated in similar arrangements for about 25 years and the renewal extends the partnership through 2030. The council approved the resolution by roll call.
