The council dispensed with the reading of the mayor’s message at the prompt of Alderman Baumann. The clerk conducted the roll call for the override: the vote was recorded as 15 ayes, and the presiding officer declared the veto overridden.
The council then proceeded to the next item of unfinished business on the agenda.
