The Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency took a series of procedural and appointment actions during the July 15 meeting.
The board approved the CRA meeting minutes from June 17, 2025; the motion carried unanimously. The board also approved the meeting agenda as printed; the motion carried unanimously.
On a nomination resolution to appoint a banker/finance-sector representative to the Northwest CRA District Advisory Committee, the board conducted a roll-call vote and announced the appointment of John Berger (District 5) to a two-year term expiring July 15, 2027. The board conducted the vote by roll call after nominations were closed and the chair announced the appointment. (The roll-call sequence was recorded in the transcript and the chair announced the result.)
A second resolution — to appoint a general contractor/developer/real-estate professional to the Northwest CRA District Advisory Committee — was moved, seconded and then postponed by board motion to the CRA’s next meeting so staff and commissioners could review a recently filed application. The board set the item for the September CRA meeting; the motion to postpone carried.
No budget or policy votes occurred on July 15; the FY2026 draft budgets were presented and will return for final action on September 16, 2025.
Below are the formal actions recorded in the meeting transcript.
