City announcements listed collection days by geographic area: Monday service covers the Silver Creek Road North area and areas west of Highway 95 between Silver Creek and Raymar Road, the airport area, McCormick Road and subdivisions north of Highway 68. Tuesday covers areas west of Highway 95 between Hancock Road and Riverview Drive and Chaparral Terrace. Wednesday covers the Riviera area from Hancock Road north to the Colorado River and areas south of Raymour Road to Mohave Drive. Thursday covers Chaparral Golf Course, Fox Creek, Arroyo Vista and Clearwater Hills.
Under the current agreement with Republic Services, residents are allowed six bulky-item pickups per year.
