Irmo recognizes new businesses and names Irmo Kids Dental small business of the month

The Town of Irmo on July 15 welcomed several new businesses and presented Irmo Kids Dental with the town’s small-business award for July 2025.
Council announced new businesses including Luxe Events Venue at 7536 C Woodrow Street, Glow Up Aesthetics, Lake Murray Head Spa and Salon, Jocelyn Aesthetics and the DB Studio. The council then recognized Irmo Kids Dental, which is opening a new building on Lake Murray Boulevard.
Dr. Santana Jones, co-owner of Irmo Kids Dental, said she and her husband, Robert Jones, have been residents for more than 20 years and that the new practice represents relationships they have built in the community. "We just love the town of Irmo. We've been Irmoans for over 20 years, and it's just beautiful to be able to come and get an excellent service, and contribute to the growth and helping families and businesses thrive here in Irmo," Jones said.
Why it matters: highlighting new businesses and the small-business award is intended to promote local economic development and inform residents about services and storefront openings.
Council presented a plaque and public congratulations. No formal votes were required for the recognitions.
