School board declares vehicles surplus, approves donation of playground equipment to Chase City

Board members moved and seconded the motion to deem the listed vehicles surplus; that motion carried on a roll call with board members voting yes. The separate motion to disburse certain surplus playground equipment to Chase City also passed on a roll call vote. No votes against or abstentions are recorded in the transcript.
Staff said donated equipment will be installed by the town and that the district would keep the remainder for the auction. The board did not attach additional conditions to the donation during the meeting.
