City administration updated the Keene Economic Development Corporation Type B board on recent economic-development activity and park maintenance work, including a certificate-of-occupancy update, residential plan submissions and field repairs.
Staff said RSK Trucking Company, a semi-truck and trailer paint/body shop located across from the high school, completed its final inspections and would receive its certificate of occupancy either later that day or the following morning. Staff also reported that about 20 home plans have been submitted for the Sunset Ridge development; staff noted roughly 50 homes in the canyons and 70 to 75 homes at Ashton Homeplace.
Public-works and parks updates included completion of a drainage ditch and irrigation installed between the ball fields. Staff said Field Number 1, closed for nearly two years because it was a hazard, will be repaired once the ground dries and public-works crews can perform excavation, install a French drain and rebuild the infield. Staff also noted that fence procurement is in progress and a purchase order for marquee work has been issued.
These items were presented as informational updates; no formal board action was required or taken on the items during the meeting.
