Wayne County appointment committee recommends reappointments and a new fire commission appointment

The Wayne County appointment committee on July 15 moved to reappoint several members to local boards and to appoint one new fire commissioner.
Recommendations recorded during the appointment-committee report included:
- Reappoint Dr. Rick Sessions, Parker Sherrard, Keith Spivey and Freeman Hardison Jr. to the Wayne County Health and Human Services Advisory Board. - Reappoint Shirley Edwards to the Eastern Carolina Regional Housing Authority. - Appoint Donald Tull Hill as fire commissioner for the Patetown Fire Service District.
The committee also recommended approval at a future meeting (next meeting) for additional appointments: Ray Creech to the Mount Olive Planning Board (recommended by the Planning and Inspections director) and reappointments of John Beludu, Dural Coley and Eddie Long to the Wayne Executive Jetport Commission. The appointment committee report concluded these items would appear on the next meeting's agenda for final vote where required.
These recommendations were read during the appointment-committee portion of the meeting and included on the consent agenda; the consent agenda was subsequently approved by the board.
