Staff requested that the board amend the fiscal year 2025'26 budget ordinance to change the fire district name from Erwin to Duke; the presentation said the correction would not affect the tax rate but would ensure compliance with prior ordinances and agreements.
Commissioners placed the correction on the consent agenda for formal action.
