Board told to "stay the course" on busing amid three-year contract; dead-end streets to be revisited in next bid cycle

"It was my recommendation that we stay the course, based on previous board action and that we can certainly look at bringing, those streets into the bidding process that starts up again this January," he said.
The superintendent told the board the current contract was structured to cover the three-year period and that changes could be considered when the district reopens the bidding process. No motion to change routing was introduced at the meeting.
Board members were given the opportunity to comment and ask questions; no new action was taken. The district will revisit dead-end street routing as part of the next vendor solicitation.
The discussion was recorded as an update only; staff recommended no change unless a board member later moved to alter the district's approach.
