Rockwall ISD approves TASB policy update 125 covering committees, attendance, safety and unassigned medication

The Rockwall ISD Board of Trustees voted to approve TASB policy update 125 during its June meeting, accepting multiple local revisions to board and student policies.

The update removes a provision allowing the board to assign a district employee expressly to provide clerical assistance to the board, clarifies formation and membership of board committees and advisory committees, allows partial credit for a student who passes one semester of a two-semester course, adds bullying to the list of incidents recorded under safe-schools data, and defines requirements for administration and notification when unassigned medication such as epinephrine or albuterol is used in a campus clinic.
