Vice Chair Ishii nominated the slate during the board meeting; no members of the public provided testimony for the item. Board members then voted on the nomination individually during a roll-call conducted by staff. The motion to approve the slate was adopted with all members present voting in favor.
The nomination and vote followed the authority’s bylaws, which require election of officers at the first meeting after July 1. After the vote, the board recessed its discussion of other agenda items and moved to informational reports.
"May the will of the Board be done," the chair said after the vote. The meeting proceeded to staff presentations and financial highlights without further action on governance.
