- LEPC & COOP: Approved the Local Emergency Planning Committee roster and the updated Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), both required items; sealed COOP copies will be issued to commissioners and a complete copy to IT for activation if needed.
- EMS promotions: Approved four appointment slips for current EMS employees who advanced to the next paramedic level.
- Grants and appropriations: Approved the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction Community Corrections grant agreement for $100,335 (municipal court/probation/parole services) and an addendum to a community‑based corrections subsidy grant that added $265,227 under a TCAP award (bringing combined grant totals noted in the meeting to $798,832); commissioners approved a small appropriation transfer in the prosecutor’s delinquent tax assessment fund of $27 and an EMS additional revenue appropriation of $17.40 for EMT training receipts.
- Property/utility work: Approved South Central Power Company applications to replace three poles and to replace 12 existing poles along Chapel Ridge Road; engineering sign‑offs were noted in the record. The board approved an underground construction request by South Central Power and related right‑of‑way work with standard engineer conditions.
- Satisfaction of mortgage: Approved recording a satisfaction of mortgage so the auditor can update tax escrow status for properties where mortgages were paid off; the board heard an explanation that when mortgages are paid off owners resume paying taxes directly.
- Restitution letters: Motion approved to send registered letters to parents of juveniles determined responsible for damage to county property and to pursue restitution (the recorded damage amount was $1,500, which the county paid to repair a door).
- Courthouse air conditioning contingency: Commissioners approved a motion authorizing up to an additional $1,500 to acquire two more HVAC units and rewire an outlet in the common pleas courtroom if contractor timing delayed repairs; the board said it would confirm vendor timing before spending.
