Power staff: AMI contract with Eaton close but under legal review

"As soon as they make those changes and we see those changes ... we're ready to go move forward," one staff member said. Staff added that they have budget money in the current fiscal year to start AMI work and that the city made some office and infrastructure updates to support both power and water functions.
The board asked for a timeline; staff said they expect the contract to be signed "by the next power board" meeting if Eaton's revisions reflect the agreed changes. No final signature or expenditure was reported during the meeting.
