The Lake County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved Amendment No. 2 to the agreement with Davis Guest Home Inc. for adult residential support services and specialty mental health services in the amount of $380,000 for fiscal year 2024-25.
Amber Luch, fiscal manager for Behavioral Health, told the board there was a clerical error in the draft whereas clause and asked the board to approve the amendment "as amended," noting the figure should read "$110,000 rather than $100,000." Luch described services funded by the contract as daily residential care, meals, supervision, assistance with daily living skills, recovery planning and medication management for Lake County residents who are conserved and require a higher level of care.
Luch said Davis Guest Home served an average of seven clients per month during the last fiscal year. After brief questions and no public comment, a motion to approve the amendment as amended passed on a unanimous vote.
The board did not specify a funding source in the discussion; no amendments beyond the clerical correction were recorded in the meeting.
