The commission then voted to impose a public reprimand and a $500 fine (motion passed 5-0). The record shows the votes were taken with five commissioners in favor and none opposed; minutes record the outcome as a formal disciplinary action under Fulton County Code section 101-68.
Commissioner Arrington spoke during the hearing and reiterated his apology, saying he regretted the word he used but urging the commission to consider mutual interruptions during the exchange.
