Jackson budget committee approves construction and wastewater payments, forwards two path bids to Village Board

Jackson Budget and Finance Committee members on July 8, 2025, voted to approve change orders, pay requests and contract amendments tied to street reconstruction, wastewater treatment work and the Jackson Community Center and recommended two path-construction bids to the Village Board. President and committee chair Heckendorf was noted as absent and excused.

The approvals commit the committee to recommend that the Village Board accept a change order and several contractor pay requests and maintenance contracts, and to advance a Clean Water Fund loan application for the 2024 wastewater treatment plant project. The measures affect multiple ongoing infrastructure projects across the village, including Ridgeway Drive and Chestnut Court, the wastewater treatment plant, and the Jackson Community Center expansion.

Committee members moved and seconded each item in turn and recorded each motion as approved.
