Park Crossing Field House: Project reported as about 98% complete with a state inspection (substantial completion) scheduled; furniture and equipment installed and final inspections pending. District staff said the building should be ready for students for the 2025—26 school year pending the state inspector's final sign-off.
South Lawn Middle School gym addition: Project approximately 68% complete. The district reported change-order requests tied to unforeseen roof and utility relocations; a time-extension request was under review with the architect and the district. Window and exterior door installation was underway; HVAC units were scheduled to power up the next week to allow interior finishes to proceed.
Turf and track projects: Park Crossing turf and track were reported complete and already in use. Carver High School's turf and track required a change order because removal of the existing rubber track revealed subbase conditions beyond the contingency. Facilities staff told the board the work remained within the overall Percy/Carver program budget and the schedule continues to target field readiness for the start of school, weather permitting.
