At its July 8, 2025 meeting the San Francisco County Transportation Authority approved a slate of procedural and administrative actions. Key outcomes announced by the clerk included:
- Approval of the minutes of the June meeting (Item 2). Motion moved by Commissioner Mandelmann, seconded by Commissioner Chen; clerk announced 9 ayes and the minutes were approved.
- Allocation and appropriation actions for Prop L and Prop AA (Item 7). The board approved allocations totaling $2,441,000 and appropriated $100,000 in Prop L funds, and allocated $2,360,572 in Prop AA funds for six requests that included curb ramp construction, sidewalk and curb repair at roughly 200 locations, a replacement street sweeper, SFMTA bicycle safety classes and Neighborhood Transportation Program staffing support, and a pavement renovation project covering 46 blocks. Motion moved by Commissioner Dorsey, seconded by Commissioner Chen; clerk announced the motion approved.
- Approval of on‑call contracts for strategic communications, media and community relations services (Item 11). The board shortlisted five consultant teams for up to $600,000 over three years (with extension options). Motion moved by Commissioner Mandelmann, seconded by Commissioner Chen; roll call recorded 10 ayes.
- Approval of revisions to the debt policy and ratification of the investment policy (Item 12). Staff recommended updates to four sections of the debt policy for clarity and to remove outdated references; the investment policy was ratified with no changes. Motion moved by Commissioner Mahmood, seconded by Commissioner Mandelmann; the clerk announced the motion approved.
