Boerne city staff and first responders continue mutual-aid support after severe storms in Kerr and Kendall counties

- Deployment and coordination: Thatcher said the city coordinated with the Kendall County EOC and that Boerne personnel, including Fire Department and public-works staff, deployed to assist neighboring communities. Chief Casarez and Chief Ball were deployed to support the Kerr County EOC and city officials in Kerrville; other staff provided on-site support in Kendall County.
- Staff and community support: Thatcher noted some employees experienced property damage but that there were no city employee fatalities. He thanked staff, the volunteer fire departments, county partners and other mutual-aid responders for their work and cautioned about responder fatigue as the multi-day response continued.
