The board opened a public hearing on the proposed budget and received no public comment before returning to the agenda. "I move to adopt the final budget of Cochise County Jail District for fiscal year 20 25 20 26 in the amount of $19,928,931," said Supervisor Adam Gomez, District 2, who made the motion. The motion was seconded by Supervisor Crosby, District 1.
The board voted unanimously, 3-0, with Supervisors Crosby, Adam Gomez and Antonori voting in favor. The chair announced, "Motion passes 3 0." There was no additional discussion recorded on the budget item.
All three supervisors were present in person for the meeting. After approving the budget, the board adjourned the jail district meeting and noted the next meeting would be a special board meeting of the Board of Supervisors.
