At its July 1 meeting the Bay County Board of County Commissioners approved a multi-item consent agenda, several development plats and zoning changes, a local hospital assessment resolution, and amendments to county code. All recorded votes on those items were unanimous.
The Bay County Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously on a broad slate of items at its July 1, 2025 regular meeting in Panama City Beach.
The board approved the consent agenda, which bundled routine reports, contract awards, grant ratifications and other administrative items. On the regular agenda the board approved conveyances related to the Titus Park Phase 3 subdivision, authorized recording of those conveyances, approved the final plat for the Sugar Sand Phase 2 subdivision, adopted a small-scale future land use and zoning change for three properties on Joan Avenue (with a condition barring a gas station), adopted a resolution setting the local provider participation fund assessment for hospitals, and approved revisions to Chapter 8 of the Bay County Code of Ordinances dealing with court fines and fees.
