At the July 1, 2025 Gallatin City Council meeting, Jaime Cauley introduced Ben Allen as the city’s new assistant city attorney. Cauley said Allen is on his second day with the city and that he previously worked for the county for about five years and for the law firm Farrah, Bates & Barrecsa for roughly two and a half years representing municipalities, including Gallatin.
Cauley asked council members to welcome Allen; Allen did not make additional remarks on the public record. No formal appointment vote was recorded during the council meeting; the item appeared as an introduction and staff announcement.
