Owasso Public Golf Authority adopts FY2025–26 budget; consent agenda approved

Carly Novozinski, a staff member, told trustees that "pursuant to statutory and charter provisions, an annual operating budget for the Owasso Public Golf Authority has been developed and was transmitted for trustee review on 05/06/2025." She said the proposed budget "was discussed during the May and June city council work session meetings, and printed copies of the proposed budget have been available for viewing at city hall, on the city's website, and at the Owasso Public Library." Novozinski added that a public hearing was held on 06/03/2025 and "no citizen comments were provided." She concluded, "Staff recommends approval of resolution 25-01 adopting a fiscal year 2025-26 budget for the Owasso Public Golf Authority."
Trustees moved and seconded approval of the consent agenda and later moved and seconded approval of Resolution 25-01. Roll-call votes recorded on the consent agenda show Trustee Chad Balthrop: yes; Vice Chair Bridal Dunn: yes; Trustee Cody Walter: yes; and (recorded) "Mister Puiget"/"Mister Prudier": yes. The vote on Resolution 25-01 was recorded similarly with "Mister Dothrop": yes; Vice Chair Bridal Dunn: yes; Trustee Cody Walter: yes; and (recorded) "Mister Prudier": yes. Both items were recorded as approved.
There was no substantive discussion recorded beyond the staff presentation and the formal motions. The OPGA manager and OPGA attorney reported no items. With business concluded, the trustees adjourned the meeting.
