Josephine County staff updated the board on the status of county-owned property at 210 Tacoma. Surveyors have completed preliminary work and submitted materials to the county planning department for review. Staff estimated that, depending on planning comments and the county surveyor's approval, the lot-line adjustment and final mapping could be completed by mid-October to mid-November.
Staff clarified that a lot-line adjustment is administrative and does not require an additional public hearing before the board (unlike a partition plat). The board discussed options for the property once surveying and mapping are complete: retain and lease, fix and retain for county use, or dispose through sale. Staff said the county could market the property for sale pending the lot-line adjustment but could also wait until final maps are recorded.
Staff will continue survey and planning coordination and return to the board with recommended next steps for disposition, pricing, or leasing once the lot-line adjustment is completed and any appraisal or marketing analysis is available.
