Most project buildings are under construction and near completion, but the 32 Pleasant property experienced significant stormwater-related cost overruns. Staff reviewed the requested costs and determined only about $5,000 of additional work — tied to right-of-way work eligible under Act 381 — could be supported. The board voted to amend the grant agreement to add the $5,000.
A board member asked whether the stormwater costs were on-site or in the right of way; staff confirmed eligible right-of-way items were the portion the BRA could support and that the developer understood limits on Act 381 eligibility. The amendment was approved by voice vote.
