The Lakeville Library Board of Trustees received an update on summer programming, upcoming events and staffing at its June meeting.
Library Director Jennifer Jones reported that summer reading programs began June 18 and youth story hours started June 16. Programs listed for the coming weeks include an outdoor story time (weather permitting), a short run of "Playing with Purpose" on Wednesdays, an art program for teens and adults, Flying High Dogs, Candy Bar Bingo for adults and a family STEAM night on July 7. The library is co‑sponsoring a concert with the arts council on Tuesday, July 8 at 6 p.m.
