Jefferson County officials approve routine financial and service agreements, discuss opioid-settlement sharing

Jefferson County officials approved a series of routine financial and service measures and discussed how opioid‑settlement funds will be shared with a neighboring drug and alcohol commission.

At the meeting, officials voted to approve the minutes from the June 10 meeting; to pay invoices totaling $1,004,952.10 for the period June 7–June 21, 2020; and to approve payroll totaling $338,666.29 for the payroll period noted in the record.

Officials also approved a multi‑year contract with the nutrition group that currently supplies meals to the Jefferson County Jail and authorized an agreement with Action, Inc. to administer the county’s Medical Assistance transportation under the PennDOT shared‑ride program, reimbursing Action, Inc. for the cost of senior trips.
