Speakers noted the village’s steep terrain — referenced as a roughly 13% slope in the transcript — and said even small sidewalk uplifts can present hazards for residents with mobility challenges. “With our trees and being on a 13% slope, the whole village, I mean, we need to be very conscious of of these kind of safety issues,” Speaker 2 said.
