Votes at a glance: Scoville School Board approves standing resolutions, sublease tied to 2019 bond and personnel slate

At its June 26 meeting the Board of Education of the Scoville School District approved standing resolutions and contracts, a sublease related to a 2019 bond issue, and a personnel slate, all by voice vote.

Item 3: The board approved standing resolutions A through C, a set of contracts including vendor purchase orders above $15,000 and a supplemental appropriation for child nutrition. The superintendent presented the item and the board moved, seconded and approved the measures by voice vote.

Item 4: The board approved a motion to accept and carry forward the sublease agreement dated Dec. 1, 2019, between the district and the Muskogee Industrial Trust for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. The presenter said the sublease is tied to the district's 2019 bond issue; the board moved, seconded and approved the item.

Item 5: The board approved personnel items as presented (see separate article). That approval included adjunct appointments, certificated hires for the 2025–26 school year, a non-acceptance of employment, resignations, summer painters and the hiring of an assistant principal. The board accepted the resignation and retirement of Assistant Superintendent Dr. Lance Crowley.
