The El Dorado County Board of Supervisors, acting as the Air Quality Management District (AQMD) board, on June 24 adopted the AQMD recommended budget for fiscal year 2025-26.
Scott Wilson, program manager for the AQMD, told supervisors the district presented its recommended budget at the June 10 meeting and that California Health & Safety Code requires a two-week period between the initial presentation and final adoption hearing. Wilson and APCO Rania Soria were available to answer questions; supervisors had none.
The board opened a public hearing; no members of the public asked to speak. The board adopted the budget by a 5-0 vote.
Ending: The AQMD budget is adopted and the chair was authorized to sign the resolution approving the FY 2025-26 recommended budget. Staff will implement the plan under the approved appropriations.
