TDOT funding will cover $220,000 shortfall for light synchronization project, staff says

Staff estimated the process to take about two months after the TIP amendment before the project can go to construction bidding.
Committee members asked whether any local action (resolution or ordinance) was required; staff said no additional local legislative action was needed to receive the funds. Members described the funding news as beneficial and expressed appreciation for staff work to secure the additional funds.
