The Bath County Board of Education on June 23 approved consent-agenda items 5a through 5s covering the district’s routine monthly reports, fiscal items, and agreements.
Board action (motion by Carla, second by Eric) approved minutes, monthly financial statements and claims, superintendent expenditures, travel and grants, payables through June 30, fiscal‑year 2025 donations acceptance (the district’s “Red Book” requires board acceptance), and KDE assurances required for federal funding. The consent agenda also included the FY25 unaudited Annual Financial Report (AFR), a KRS‑governed treasurer bond for Treasurer Bridal Combs at $400,000, the KDE depository report for FY26, and renewal MOAs and agreements: an agreement with Gateway Head Start for disability services (as determined by the ARC committee), and a Gateway District Health Department MOA for school nursing services.
Other consent items approved included emergency and provisional certifications for teachers and substitutes for FY25–26, a dual‑credit MOU with Maysville Community and Technical College to offer dual‑credit classes, Wright Insurance renewal as the district insurance provider, and board approval to advertise for bids for a tax accountant. The board approved the full consent agenda by voice vote.
