Resident says county road crew damaged Timberlane Loop, urges closer supervision

"I've went to the county shop and talked to the lady there several times and asked for her to have the road supervisor get ahold of me," Buffum said. He described recent work on Timberlane Loop as having "tore that up to where you can't fix it now" and added that crews were not shaping roads to shed water properly. "They do the roads that they do every 3 3 years or whatever, they they're turning them up. They don't make them better. They make them where water can't get off of them," he said.
Buffum told commissioners he has 58 years' experience maintaining roads for the Bureau of Land Management, the Forest Service and private landowners and offered to ride with the road supervisor to demonstrate proper techniques.
