Moffat County approves Shimizu minor subdivision to split parcel along county road

The Moffat County Board of County Commissioners on June 24 approved the final plat for Shimizu Minor Subdivision (S-25-03), which creates two parcels based on an existing county road that divides the property.
Candice Miller, planning and zoning coordinator, said the board had previously approved the sketch prelim and that the final is now before the board. Miller said the county did not receive any letters of opposition and that the Division of Water Resources did not raise water-supply concerns because none were required for this subdivision.
A motion to approve Minor Subdivision S-25-03 was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. No public testimony was offered during the hearing.
The approval finalizes the minor subdivision as presented; staff recorded no conditions or outstanding objections in the meeting transcript.
