FREMONT COUNTY, Colo. — Fremont County budget and finance officer Sean Sutton told the Board of County Commissioners on June 24 that April and May 2025 retail and use tax collections are slightly behind last year but remain ahead of the county’s conservative budget projections.
Sutton reported April retail sales tax for the general fund at $800,171, about $5,403 less than April 2024, and year-to-date retail collections at $2,823,220, roughly $98,860 less than the same period in 2024.
