Tamarac to receive Broward cultural grants; staff update recognition policy and add charity to list

Staff also said they will add an entity—ERCs Strong Corporation—to the city’s list of charitable entities reviewed under consent items. Separately, the city attorney described a minor amendment to an existing policy governing presentation of keys to the city and proclamations to reflect a recently created recognition called the Tamarac Medal of Honor; staff said the policy sets criteria for awarding the medal.
The items were presented for the upcoming commission meeting; no formal action was taken at the staff review.
