Muhlenberg County Schools named a 2024-25 National Beta District of Distinction

Superintendent presented recognition that Muhlenberg County Schools was selected as one of 78 National Beta Districts of Distinction for 2024-25; each school will receive plaques and students will attend the national convention in Orlando.
Board representative Carla announced that Muhlenberg County Schools has been named one of 78 districts nationwide to receive the 2024–25 National Beta District of Distinction award for demonstrating commitment to academic excellence, leadership development and service involvement. The recognition requires that schools in the district offer National Beta and qualify students in grades 4 through 12.
Carla credited the superintendent, school principals, club sponsors and Beta members for the award and said each school will receive a plaque from National Beta. Several schools' Beta sponsors were listed by name in the presentation. She also noted that several Beta members will travel to Orlando for the national convention in the coming weeks to compete and participate.
The board offered congratulations to students, sponsors and administrators for the recognition.
